Grand Champion Seaplane
Scheme Designers recently received this wonderful thank you for our support in the restoration of N70AL, a 1970 Mckinnon G21G Turbine Goose. The N70AL received Grand Champion Seaplane at the 2022 Oshkosh Airventure! 70AL was parked at the airport in Amphibian parking for the week and there was a constant crowd around the airplane!
Scheme Designer’s name was on the side of the airplane next to the entry door. EAA Airventure had record attendance with over 650,000 people and the aircraft was also at the Greenville seaplane fly-in in early September. This is the largest seaplane fly-in in the world with over 100 seaplanes in attendance.

FREE DESIGN WORKSHOPS AT eea airVenture 2022 in Oshkosh
Scheme Designers Owner and Chief Designer, Craig Barnett, will host three free workshops at EAA Oshkosh 2022. In his interactive sessions, he will share critical guidelines and best design practices for a variety of makes and models of aircraft, for owners and companies to use when designing their new aircraft livery and in considering the repainting of their aircraft. Mr. Barnett’s world-renowned workshop is presented in a dynamic, engaging, educational and entertaining, graphic-rich and visually stimulating media.

The Mooney Flyer Published July 2022
Kevin Knight wrote this recent article about Scheme Designers CEO Craig Barnett in the July edition of The Mooney Flyer.
Planes look better, are more valuable and make passengers feel safer when they have nice paint schemes. Why? Shiny, attractive paint says, “I’m being well taken care of!”
Anyone who disagrees should walk down a flight line that includes a few planes with dull, oxidized, peeling paint. They may be mechanically sound, have great glass and avionics, even brand new engines beneath the cowlings. But they look old, decrepit, unloved… even dangerous…
The good news is, it’s easy to have a terrific paint design created and applied to your plane. It won’t be cheap but will add value and, if properly cared for, will last 20 or more years.
